Contract vehicles & designations.
How to put us on contract, and the registrations a contracting officer or prime needs for due diligence. Stated plainly, with nothing we do not hold.
Three ways to put us on contract.
Direct / open-market procurement
Agencies may purchase from us on the open market, subject to applicable competition requirements, thresholds, required sources, and agency policy. Our SAM.gov registration provides the entity record needed for award processing; it does not by itself create sole-source authority.
Subcontract & teaming
For larger efforts, Glacier Byte joins the prime as the RMF / ATO compliance subcontractor. Personnel are clearable up to TS/SCI and embed under the program security umbrella. Access and staffing are confirmed during scoping.
Embedded specialist
Bring in a CISSP-led specialist to work inside your program on RMF scoping, implementation, authorization, and sustainment.
Registrations & codes.
Core identifiers for due diligence are collected here. Verify current registration status in SAM.gov before an award.
Small business, stated plainly.
Glacier Byte Technology is a small business under our primary NAICS codes. We hold no socioeconomic set-aside we have not earned, and we do not list contract vehicles we do not have. We would rather a contracting officer find the page accurate than padded.
As we add vehicles and designations, they will appear here. If you have a teaming arrangement or a vehicle you want us to support, tell us and we will scope it.
Questions primes ask.
Can Glacier Byte Technology subcontract on our program?
Yes. We team with primes as the RMF and ATO compliance subcontractor, embedded under your program security umbrella. We are a registered small business (CAGE 9WYP0, UEI N3UKUXEY4RE5) and can join a team without a separate contract vehicle.
Can you support programs with clearance requirements?
Yes. Engagements are clearance-track, with personnel clearable up to TS/SCI. The required level, current access, and staffing approach are confirmed during scoping before work begins.
What are your NAICS codes and small-business status?
Our primary NAICS is 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services); we also use 541715 (R&D in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences) for SBIR and R&D work. We are a registered small business, active on SAM.gov (UEI N3UKUXEY4RE5, CAGE 9WYP0).
What compliance scope do you take on?
RMF lifecycle and ATO (categorization through authorization), continuous monitoring and ATO sustainment, System Security Plans and POA&M documentation, security assessments against your NIST 800-53 baseline, STIG and SRG hardening, and air-gapped SIEM implementation using Splunk or the Elastic Stack.
How do we put you on contract?
Three common paths are an open-market procurement conducted under the applicable acquisition rules, a subcontract or teaming arrangement with a prime, or an embedded CISSP-led specialist inside the program. The contracting officer or prime determines the available path.
Do you hold a socioeconomic set-aside or a contract vehicle?
We are a registered small business. We do not list any set-aside or contract vehicle we do not hold; as we add them, they will appear on this page.
Discuss a teaming arrangement or award.
Tell us about the program and the path you have in mind. We will tell you how we would scope the RMF work and where we fit on your team.
